Austrian winegrowers present their wines in front of a breathtaking backdrop at Katrin alp in Bad Ischl.

Starting at 4 p.m., a glass of wine is served in the gondola as an introduction for every guest to the mountain ride. The Bad Ischl schnapps distiller Hans Zierler additionally offers tastings of his fine spirits and provides information on the spot about the art of schnapps distilling.

You will be spoiled with regional and seasonal dishes by the hosts of the Berggasthof and the Katrin Almhütte.

Due to the extended opening hours of Katrin cable car on this day until 9 p.m., there is the rare opportunity to take a ride down the valley at dusk at the end of the day, which lets Bad Ischl shine in a very special light.
