Alpine pasture festival

Tradition meets cuisine at Katrin alp at the summer kick-off in the Salzkammergut.

At the beginning of summer, the unique landscape of the Katrin alp becomes the backdrop for a wonderful festival.

With the Katrin ALMFEST on Thursday, 19.06.2025, the cable car , together with the Katrin Berggasthof and the Katrin Almhütte, offers its guests a very special experience.

The Trachtenverein D'Ischler creates an atmosphere on the mountain that will not be forgotten for a long time.

With the club music, the dance group, the Paschers of the "kloan Pass" and the Ischler Seitlpfeifern, there is "playing, dancing and singing" and the local customs are celebrated.

The festival is rounded off with delicacies from the grill as well as beer from the wooden barrel and exquisite wines.

The Almfest begins at 11 a.m. and can be visited either by means of Katrin cable car or on foot via the hiking trails.

Admission free, for transport the normal tariffs of Katrin cable car apply. No registration required.
