Tradition meets cuisine at the Katrin alp the start of summer in the Salzkammergut.

At the beginning of summer, the unique landscape of Katrin alp becomesalp backdropalp a wonderful festival.

With the Katrin on Sunday, June 28, 2026, the cable car with the Katrin and the Katrin , offers its guests a very special experience. The D'Ischler traditional costume association creates an unforgettable atmosphere at Katrin .

The festival will be rounded off with delicacies from the grill at the Katrin Alpine hut, also for vegetarians – there is something for everyone.

The Almfest begins at 11 a.m. and can be reached either bycable car Katrin cable car on foot via the hiking trails.

Admission is free, and the normal Katrin cable car fares apply. No registration is required.
