THE KATRIN CABLE CAR

PANORAMABAHN BAD ISCHL

Since 1959, the charming 4-seater cable car has been taking residents and guests of the spa and imperial town of Bad Ischl up to the Katrin alp. It takes leisurely 15 minutes to reach the nature reserve at an altitude of 1,400 metres above sea level.

WINTER ON THE KATRIN

In winter, the Katrin alp has fantastic conditions for ski touring, sledging and snowshoeing. Of course, relaxation should not be neglected either: At the mountain station and at Katrin alp there are comfortable deckchairs to soak up the sun and enjoy a magnificent panoramic view!
